I tried FF 4.0 on my XP SP3 system but it seemed noticeably slower than 
IE8. It frequently timed out wating for sites to load, whereas IE8 
loaded them fine.

I am no M$ fan, but FF didnt seem like a competitor. I suppose it might 
work better on Linux, or perhaps theres something wrong with my system 
config.
