I made a small game engine, which is faster. Project homepage is here : http://soft.vub.ac.be/~jceuppen/java/angels-destiny-rpg/ Check out git or one of the tarballs. Features for now are : you have one level where you can be attacked, fighting screen works with eveything on it. Can be ported to android AFAIK as it uses AWT.
