I leave the room for five minutes and there are 70 new articles?! In FIVE MINUTES?! I fetched new headers, marked most of about 20 articles (in the past 12 hours or so) read and actually read a handful, went to get coffee, came back, fetched headers again, and 70 new articles?! What the fuck. Get lives, you people!

While I've seen some spam over the last few weeks, I've seen very little lately. I think Eternal-September is doing a good job filtering most of it out.

Google Groups does not appear to be filtering the duplicates. On aioe, my kill filter has fired 925 times since 2-Aug-2012. -- John B.
