import java.io.*;

public class ReadIt {
     public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
         FileReader fr = new FileReader("ReadIt.java");
         BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(fr);

         String str;
         while ((str = br.readLine()) != null)
             System.out.println(str);

         br.close();
     }
}

You will need to catch exceptions in real code but this will work unless 
an exception is thrown.
