The DPA spans the globe certifying design patterns and giving them their gold seal of approval. :-) Sorry, I work in enterprise software and see a lot of so called "official" and "certified" crap in software vendor marketing material. :-) Although, in a serious vein, isn't the Portland repository considered sort of official by a lot of design pattern folks?
