We Need Data Warehousing Consultant for our client in Houston, TX
Location.

• Development of EDW architecture.
• Design, develop and implement the logical / physical data model.
• Design and implement solutions in EDW architecture for data
cleansing and maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
• Design and test SSIS and DTS packages.
• Design and implement automated test scripts to ensure that source
system data is accurately represented in the final reporting objects
of the Data Warehouse.
• Design and implement action plans in case of job failures or other
situations that would hinder timely updates of data in the EDW
• Document all phases of work including gathering requirements,
logical/physical data models, metadata, definition of terms, database
diagrams and other technical specifications using current specified
design standards for new or revised solution.
• Assist in implementing system and unit test programs ensuring
correct application of transformation logic from source to target.

Required Skills:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in design of ETL code
•  Comprehensive knowledge of the design and development of jobs using
ETL, ELT and capture technologies
• Knowledge of T-SQL, PL-SQL
• Broad experience in QA, test plans and test designs
• Solid background in both application systems and business processes
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability to both work independently and in a project
management environment
• Effective team player
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience Data Warehouse and ETL Best Practices and Methodologies

This is a 3+ months assignment in Houston, TX
