J2EE Developer: This is a 6 to 12 month Contract position in Los Angeles, CA

The Java Developer will be responsible for design, implementation,
testing, training and documentation of the guide related enterprise
services.  Meet, coordinate and work well with other team members and
users throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Qualifications

BS or MS (preferred) in Computer Science/Engineering is required.
7-10 years of experience developing large-scale software applications
using Java technologies.
Strong experience with J2EE, EJB3, RMI, Web Services, SOAP/WDSL/REST/
XML/JSON, T-SQL, PL/SQL, JPA/Hibernate, JMS, and Log4j.
Strong experience with SOAP and REST based web services.
Experience utilizing JBoss 4.2.x Application Server, Apache Tomcat
5.5.x and DB2 strongly preferred.
Experience with in-memory data cache and concurrency handling
required.
Experience with SAX, DOM, StAX and Xstream parser.
Experience with writing JUnit test cases.
Experience with continuous integration tools (i.e., Hudson) a plus.
Working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
methodologies.
Experience in developing multi-threading and distributed applications
in a Linux environment.
Experience in performance tuning and load testing.
Experience writing ant build scripts plus.
Configuration management and revision control using CVS a plus.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and
schedules.
Able to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented
environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and
analytical skills.
Extended hour support may be required.
