The position is a 11 month contract located in Houston, TX, starting later this month and going to the end of February 2014. You must be a green card holder or US Citizen who is already located in the US and willing to be onsite in Houston. Our client is looking for 5 software developers to be part of a cross functional team responsible for designing and building applications for payment systems industry. This position will be involved in the analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of both, Core (C++) & Web (Java) applications for a modern Web Portal to support existing and new business requirements. Responsibilities: Analyze, design and code new and existing implementations for FSV. • Manage internal relationships gathering data and writing requirements and supporting development. • Use build and debug tools in both Windows and UNIX environments. Requirements: • Strong working knowledge of C++ & Java (10 years plus of programming experience) • 10 years of UNIX/Solaris experience • 10 years of Multi-Threading/IPC & TCP/IP programming • Knowledge of SQL/Oracle (5+ years) • 8 to 10 years of web development experience in a Java environment • 5-7 years of experience with Java portal development and light administration experience (Liferay, Websphere) • 5-7 years of experience with JSR-168/286, SQL, AJAX, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Tomcat • 5-7 years of experience with Spring MVC and ORM Framework (iBATIS or equivalent) experience • Strong object oriented design & software architecture skills • Experience with software version control systems (CVS & SVN) • Familiarity with XML • Banking or financial systems background • Strong interpersonal and communications skills If you are interested reach out to mike at abesap dot com.
