Big Data Engineer

Location: Weehawken, NJ, Newyork City ,NY

MOI: Skype +F2F

Duration: 6months+

Experience: 9+ years

VisaType: OtherThan OPT’s and No H1 transfers

    Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

    Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Spark and Cassandara CQL

    Advanced working Cassandra CQL knowledge and experience working with Cassandra or CosmosDB, query authoring (CSQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

    Experience designing Cassanra Data Models for Time Series

    Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

    Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.

    Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.

    Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.

    Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
