i'd like to bring to your attention that i have posted a reply to you
for the discussion mentioned.

The problem i'm currently facing is while using the code found at
http://www.codeguru.com/java/articles/139.shtml for JTable with
mergeable cells, it was found that the column headers and columns are
not displayed aligned. So i was thinking if i could find where the
headers are getting rendered, i could solve this problem.
