Cross-posting is placing all the groups in the same header for the same 
message.  Multi-posting is separately composing and posting messages to 
different groups with substantially the same content.

 From what I've read in clj.gui, clj.programmer and clj.help, folks tend to 
forgive cross-posting.  Multi-posting, as the OP did with this thread and you 
yourself have done repeatedly with your multitudinous multiposts about your 
London conference, is the "sin that is unforgivable".

Lew,

I am very guilty of the same sin I must accept. Yes, I posted
trillions of the same message across different forums/list.

You should understand that I was only trying to get the news across.
We've had people over the years claiming not to know about such
events. If you managed to see it, that means its really getting
through :-))
