To: comp.lang.java.gui Compared with how many Opera or Firefox skins there are, there are not that many L&Fs in Java to choose from. I have never written an L&F or a skin myself, so I don't know which is more work. I suspect a skin is mostly artistic skill creating a set of icons where an L&F is requires more programming skill. I wondered if some of the browser skins might not serve as inspiration to writing some L&Fs. For example, I quite like a the distinctive Curacao skin for Firefox.
