Perhaps there's another way to accomplish what you seek to accomplish. Wherefore do you need, or think you need, an obsolete Java version? Does it have to be Oracle's Java 5? What about http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/linux/download.html#java5 ? That version apparently is from 2011-11-22.
