To: comp.lang.java.gui Hallo NG, I am struggling with the Java Media Framework :-( I have the following idea, but do not know how to handle it. Maybe one of you can give me a hint? I am using the Java media player from the JMF to play a video. For this video, I have several time points, e.g. after 3 seconds of playing, 10 seconds of playing and 34 seconds of playing. Now, I want to update a component of my gui, in which the player is embedded, each time when the video reaches one of these time points. So, I constantly have to observe the current time point of the playing video and compare it with the list of my static time points (which can be very large). Does any one have an idea, how to implement this?
