Given that the word "Java" never appears once in the spam, it discussed no 
programming, and it was not in one of the "announce" newsgroups.

Plus it was multi-posted, a clear indication that there was no desire for 
feedback or conversation.

Looks like spam, smells like spam, even tastes like spam.  Sure glad I didn't 
step in it.
