#25359 — forth-mode.el problem?

FromPaul Rubin <no.email@nospam.invalid>
Date2013-08-21 23:36 -0700
Subjectforth-mode.el problem?
Message-ID<7xppt6z0yy.fsf@ruckus.brouhaha.com>
I notice whenever I try to edit a Forth file with emacs on a particular
machine, I get the message

Error: Don't know how to compile nil

in the compile log. This is recent, it didn't happen a few weeks ago.
It's a Fedora 19 system and it's possible that yum update pulled some
kind of change that broke this.

Before I put significant effort into diagnosing it, has anyone seen it
before? Is it a known issue? Did I do something dumb?

Thanks.

Ah, the same bug hit the Debian gforth package some while ago. [1]

The patch attached to that report [2] should fix your issues.

cheers,

David
