Still there is something about this particular sudoku.
It is apparently hard for some algorithms.
It takes a full 7 seconds and 10,000 steps with my sudset.frt
published here a long time ago. (On a 90 MHz Pentium I)

Typical sudoku's take 0.8 seconds and 200 steps.
