That fix doesn't help with a binary version. So your advice amounts
to loading the latest source distribution and building it.
I had the file dis-gdb.fs in good shape, then discovered that
it wasn't used.

So this is my new and improved answer:
This is a known problem and is fixed in the latest source
distribution that hasn't made it yet into the binary distributions.

Answer: There is only one thing worse than Intel assembler code,
Intel machine code.
