Today I passed by my local computerstore. In the no guarantee/no refund box I found a laptop memory of 256M for 1 Euro. So I'm the happy owner of 8 TSOP Hy5DU56622D chips at 12.5 cents each. Just to have to solder them loose. I'm not scared to connect this to the GA144. Green arrays proposes to directly connect +/- 12 V RS232 to the chip, relying on the clamping diodes.
