Yes, I know, and it was all implamentable in assembler macros. The VP assembler was pretty hot on what you could do in the macro system I grant you, but inheritance, constructors, destructors, superclass variable accsess, initialisation of all superclasses etc was all covered. I wasn't refering to any implamentation of OOP in Forth. In the article (which I assume you've read) it was more pointing out that the flexability of Lisp (and I belive this carries over to Forth) works against it in getting anything done long term. You only ever end up with 80% solutions to a problem as someone allways just does it there way because it's so easy to define your own rather than agree and co-operate with other people useing the langauge... I, like Andrew Haley, don't agree with all of the article, but it's sentiment is just as true for Forth as it is for Lisp. Chris
