VB6 on a Win 10 laptop. If I try to move more than one control on a form in the IDE (by Ctrl-Click) the highlight disappears, when I then drag, they stay put until I release the mouse button, whereupon the snap to where the mouse was - a right PITA The wierdest bit is that on showing the desktop all the highlights (the blue squares on the corners) are all on the desktop - and won't go away unless I restart the machine. -- Rob P

Sounds like a problem with the video card driver. Make sure you're up to date. -- On 11/9/2017 6:37 AM, Rob wrote: > VB6 on a Win 10 laptop. > > If I try to move more than one control on a form in the IDE > (by Ctrl-Click) the highlight disappears, when I then drag, they stay put until I release the mouse button, whereupon the snap to where the mouse was - a right > PITA > > The wierdest bit is that on showing the desktop all the highlights (the blue squares on the corners) are all on the desktop - and won't go away unless I restart > the machine. >
