Hi Tim! Thanks so much for your helpful response. I will update to the latest EOS Utility version as you suggested. I typically launch the utility from the Dock on my MBP, but come to think of it, if memory serves me right, it may automatically launch once the computer detects the camera. As I get older, I feel like such a simpleton when it comes to technology. And yes, I feel like I am drowning in cables sometimes. But I keep this one with my camera and lenses because it's so important. I guess I should look into a card reader, if that's what the preferred mode is these days. I do sometimes wish I lived in earlier times where film was the only option. I was downloading my pics on my R5, I usually shoot 200+ raw images, when I noticed not all my images had been downloaded to Mac. This happened several times and since I usually delete the images after download I was losing some of my favorite images. I finally gave up on the EOS 3 utility and have just started using Image Capture. Anyone else experience this? I have been using the CF Express card on my R5 which I have reformatted to be sure, but problem persisted canon eos utility full version download DOWNLOAD https://7crusin-msiso.blogspot.com/?hmrq=2x5pld Thank you for the reply, my OS is Ventura 13.1, and EOS utility 3.16.1.3, which i know has some issues, i suspected the card so did a reformat, tried different cable, same problem. the files were not corrupt sonce i was able to download them with Image Capture. With as many images as i shoot its difficult to verify if they all download, so it could have been happening for a while. I did wonder if the different cards in my R5 could be the issue since i have both CF express and SD cards in camera. I have tried downloading the Canon EOS Utility 3 on my windows 10 PC. I have 1 and 2 downloaded. When the download is complete, the Readme3 file is there but bo shortcut to the utility. When I try to load it again, it says it is already loaded. When i go to the directory with the other 2 or search for the .exe file I do not find anything. I can however, uninstall the EOS Utility 3. After I do, the same thing happens again. I can only use the Download Pictures on 2 I used to be able to do remote shooting with it, I am hoping Utility 3 will fix that if I can ever get it loaded. I am using an EOS Rebel SL2... THANKS After reading that thread I decided to unplug the other USB devices I had in the computer at the time (Garmin Watch, USB key, smart phone) and turn off the camera. I then turned on the camera and ran the EOS utility and it found my camera and worked correctly. but if you edit the shortcut in the startup folder to start "eos utility 2" (leave the rest of the shortcut in place) it will bring up the utility apparently in a different mode (or another version of it :)) that will recognize the camera as soon as you conect it (and switch it on :)) I'm having the same problem. Just upgraded to Windows 10. Can't connect my 70D via USB or Wireless. EOS utility only shows 2 buttons. One says Pairing over WiFi/Lan the other is Cancel. Camera screen looks ok. Says to start software on PC. EOS utility is running. Without a version of EOS utility that supports all my cameras, it would take a lot longer to focus since I'd have to transfer images from cameras to laptop by going back and forth with a CF card as I tweak the focus. It already takes two of us well over an hour to set up the 10 cameras, and every minute I can save helps. I downloaded the "EOS utility" from Canon and also something called "remote capture" however neither have worked, does not recognize the cameras. So I was searching for the utility CD on Ebay but did not find any. Hello everyone! I recently acquired a rebel t6 and am trying to set it up for a stream I already have established. I downloaded the utility just as is instructs and then I find out that I need to subscribe for the extra features. that's not a problem or THE problem... My issue is, when I pushed the "upgrade" button, it had me create an account because i did not have one made prior to this, once I've completed the steps to get signed in, the window closed, and nothing happened on its own. so, I proceeded to the next button of available subscriptions and once I used the new login info, it took me to the plans, which I selected monthly initially. The window did not close on its own as if it was going to update the utility so I closed it after waiting a couple of minutes. After several logins, which is starting to get on my nerves with the multiple verifications each time, and computer restarts, AND combinations of having the camera plugged in and disconnected, I cannot seem to get the utility to recognize my subscription so I can adjust the video settings. Is there something that I am missing? Please help! First off windows 8 does support the camera, it is canon not supporting us, all we want is the utility to be fixed it is a known issue and they are just showing they dont care. So in that case I will have to switch over to a manufacture that does like Nikon if this is the best canon can do. I dont want to have to buy a new camera cause that means new lenses as well but the xti is a great camera and does not need to be replaced, mine works great it only the software that canon makes that does not work,. If they want to keep us then they should do free upgrades to new cameras if they are choosing not to support there own products. Or at a great discount. Can someone let me know if you can disable this from auto launching. I would like to use capture one and have the eos utliity on my computer as a backup plan. With the eos utility auto launching it will not allow capture to mount the camera. I tested it on my tower where I don't have the utility and capture works perfectly. So I am thinking it's the auto launch feature or it could just be that eos is installed and that takes priority. Unfortunately, on a Mac, the EOS utility version 2 & 3 will force themselves to be listed once again on the user's auto login/startup list anytime you use the utility. So go ahead, tell it not to autostart when a camera is connected. Remove the stupid utility from your list of auto login items, EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU USE it. I have followed all instructions for connecting my camera to my IMAC and I cannot get the EOS utility to come up. I am curious as to what to do. I was able to download Canon's "Digital Photo Professional 4" and Canon's "Picture Style Editor." However, when I plug the camera into the IMAC, I expect the EOS utility to come up automatically but it doesn't. Was I supposed to download the EOS utility somewhere from the Canon Website? My camera is the EOS Rebel T3i. The OP is referring to the EOS Webcam Utility. While I wish Canon was ready to go for this day one I have a feeling that this free utility is low-ish priority for them. It makes it really nice and easy to setup a professional camera to use with a lot of video services with no extra hardware. The EOS 3 utility does more than transfer photos. It can also set the date/time on the camera from the computer date time and change various camera settings. It is a pain for it not to be working. It appears to me to be a permission problem with the USB port. Plugging the USB cable into the camera disables all of the menus on the camera and does charge only. Hello! This is a little strange situation. I always tether on lightroom through all my Windows computers. Recently I have been attempting to do so with my canon R6 and it does not work. Lightroom keeps saying detecting camera, and my camera displays ... Hello wonderful canon family,I have an issue that I was not experiencing a few months ago. I have an R5 and would use it as a webcam for zoom and teams, now the eos webcam utility disconnects from the camera after 20-30 minutes but I managed to keep ... I forgot that canon does not update drivers and updated to Sonoma 14.1.1 and there isn't a driver update yet. this is ridiculous and has me wanting to leave canon altogether. I use my canon to stream on my computer, streamyard and now i can't use it ... I have a MacBook Pro with the intel chip and with the latest version of Mac Sonoma. After spending a few hours getting the webcam utility up and running via the many workarounds offered between Apple and Canon now there is a much larger issue. The we... Basically, you can tether straight from Lightroom with no need for the EOS Utility 3. You need to disable the utility so the tethering is handled only by Lightroom. It did not work well at first, but after a few tries it did. I literally came to the canon community to find out if anyone is experiencing the same issue and found a work around. I wanted to transfer my photos and videos to my external hard drive from canon 5d mark iv and the utility does not recognize my camera, I was using my Mac mini. I decided to use wifi to transfer my photos and videos but it takes forever. Hopefully someone can provide a workaround. I'm going to download the utility to my MacBook Pro and see if I experience the same issue. You don't need to manually uninstall the utility files like that, each version of utility has it's own uninstaller, which is in the Applications folder under EOS Webcam Utility folder. I've tried uninstalling the older version - I do that every time when I try another version. But it doesn't help, the discussed pro version (2.0) doesn't work at all for me. The only version that works half measure is the 1.1 version, then I need to restart my camera device and toggle camera view in meeting softwares for some time until it starts to work on a single stream. The same goes every time a share my cam, it's pretty annoying. 35fe9a5643
