I have a Xerox Phaser 3215. It is connected via Wi-Fi and was working fine. All of a sudden I could no longer scan or print (wirelessly). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. The printer is discoverable (my computer sees it), but the printer will not connect.

Thank you for reading the blog. Please first try to ping the printer and see if there is a network connection. If it passes the ping test please remove the current driver and reboot your laptop and reinstall using the information in this installing driver information from an article in the online support for your product.

However, when I have the printer in settings, it does still come up with the driver as "FX DocuCentre SC2020 v1.2" rather than listing it as 1.6 which I find odd. I have clicked on the 'use' field to look for the 1.6 driver but it does not appear in the list. Does anyone know how to manually locate the 1.6 driver which should be available?
