My Epson 1500W (same as the 1430 in the USA) has suddenly stopped printing black. In the past when this happened a cleaning cycle and letting it rest was all that was needed to fix it. Now everything I have tried has failed. I am wondering if its time for a new printer. epson artisan 1430 software download Download https://t.co/zmGxAeCLaE Currently, my Epson Artisan 1430 has refillable cartridges filled with Dye-inks and I have a waste tank installed because of all the darn cleanings I have to perform. I'm curious if Pigment-inks is the way to go whether to add one of those CIS tanks systems to this printer. i have a 1430 and a p800. Before that I had a 1400 and a 1280 before that. I have never, never had a clog, ever. Machines wear out but I have never had a clog. I live in the northeast, rural New Hampshire, if that matters. I have left either printer unused for various periods of time. The p800 is not very old but the 1430 has been around for two years or more. I print a lot but just for my own pleasure and I have never had a clog. I recently purchased an Epson Artisan 1430. I'm running Adobe Photoshop CS3 and have calibrated a middling monitor with the Spyder 3 utility. Based on a recommendation from another site, I've reduced the brightness of my monitor to 90 cd/m2 and re-edited some low-light photos but there's still a big gap between what I'm seeing on my monitor and what comes out on the print end. Is there something I can do (besides randomly adjusting brightness/exposure until the print looks good) to get better results? Thanks for any hep that can be offered! eljeffe75 wrote: I recently purchased an Epson Artisan 1430. I'm running Adobe Photoshop CS3 and have calibrated a middling monitor with the Spyder 3 utility. Hi I have the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer that is very similar to the 1430 and I do all of my printing out of Lightroom with good results .. I use the print adjustment slider when printing to increase the brightness only for the print . I recently purchased an Epson Artisan 1430. Years with a crappy printer. Upgraded to the Artisan 1430 recently hoping that would solve the problems and am frustrated I still don't have this down yet. My understanding of printing is still limited and I truly appreciate you all helping out. My monitor is an Asus VE276. Calibration info... white point is 6500K, gamma 2.2, white luminance 90 cd/m2 (reduced that manually after calibration), black luminance 0.1 cd/m2. I'm using sRGB. Here's a screencap of the print dialog. The only thing I would change is scaling. Otherwise it represents the settings from my most recent print. I'd take a picture of it but I don't know how helpful that would be. Hello all you happy people. I'm hoping I've come to the right place to answer a particularly troubling issue I've been having with my new Epson Artisan 1430 and the continuous inking system I got for it because I wanted to print my own comics at home on 11x17 paper. For some reason most of the pages I print out have this bluish hue to them. That's simply my problem and it is very prominent on pages that have more grey scale values to them. Here's a picture from my comic, and yes it is a My Little Pony fan comic I worked on, with a comparison of how the page is suppose to look and how it ends up being printed: Hello all you happy people. The reason I got the Epson Artisan 1430 wide format printer is so that I could print my own homemade comic books. I heard some good things about the printer so I went ahead and bought it. Seeing how the ink didn't last long with my print jobs I went and got an InkXPro brand EX-series dye ink CIS set from Amazon. Managed to figure out how to hook it up and I was in business. Which brings me to my issue. The blueish hue that is in my recent prints were not there with the default Epson cartridges. But ever since I installed the CIS to my printer I've been messing around with some of the color management options to try and make things right. The blue hue is just most prominent in the page I have as an example since most of it is just meant to be grey scale. And before I forget the paper I'm using is a Hammermill brand 11x17 28lb bright white paper so that I could print these comics in official size. My MacAir won't complete the installation of the Epson Artisan 1430 printer drivers and utilities. The Epson installation stops around 48% completion and says "an error has occurred." I've tried a few times with the same result. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thank you in advance. 35fe9a5643
