In early 2010, the band released two songs for free download on their Myspace. The songs were "I'm Da Shizzit" and a cover of the song "Sexy Bitch" by David Guetta. In the summer Brokencyde co-headlined the 2 DRUNK 2 FUCK tour with Jeffree Star. Soon after the tour ended they announced that they were in the studio. In the beginning of fall their new album was announced to be complete with the title of Will Never Die. The album was released on Break Silence Recordings on November 9. In winter 2010, Brokencyde co-headlined the KA$H 4 KU$H tour with the Millionaires. On October 30, the video for "Teach Me How to Scream" was released via MySpace. The group released their third studio album Guilty Pleasure on November 8, 2011. An updated version was later released on March 13, 2012 titled Guilty Pleasurez which the band is supporting with a European "Guilty Pleasurez" tour.[15] Brokencyde The Broken Full Album Zip Download Zip https://t.co/WqACeYTM6o In April 2018, the band announced that they had signed a deal with Cleopatra Records through which they would be releasing their fourth album on Cleopatra Records' imprint, X-Ray Records.[20] The album, 0 to Brokencyde, was released on June 22, 2018.[21] The New Musical Express stated in a review of I'm Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!, that "even if I caught Prince Harry and Gary Glitter adorned in Nazi regalia defecating through my grandmother's letterbox I would still consider making them listen to this album too severe a punishment."[27] Even though the album seems to give a nod to Lil John a lot I feel that I have heard some of the beats before. The lyrics were clearly attention getting as that is pretty much all that BrokeNCYDE has going for them. Maybe if they toned down the partying and sexual innuendo lyrics and just sung about something with meaning they would be tolerable to more folk out there. Luckily I like all types of music so I was able to find some good in this CD, just not a lot. Also, there's the lingering suspicion that while they're being ironic about crunk, they still consider themselves to be a kick-ass screamo band. First of all, "kick-ass screamo" is so oxymoronic that the conflicting terms cause violent friction, making the phrase burst into flames. Screamo is based on the faulty assumption that people would enjoy emo's sniveling broken-heart songs if only they were louder and angrier. When a baby starts crying in a restaurant, people just want it to shut the fuck up. No one thinks it's really awesome and "hardcore" if the brat proceeds to a full-volume, plate-breaking tantrum. Brokencyde's stance seems to be "we're just a bunch of funny dudes who like to drink 40 ounces and get laid, fuck the haters!" However, its discography suggests an alternate explanation: "We really wanted to make soul-rending music about our fragile hearts, but no one bought it so now we're reduced to selling ourselves as the clowns of crunk." It's depressing to see Brokencyde achieve any success, but perhaps it's best that the group finds a following. Then, when they think they're popular enough, they'll release another "real" album filled with instruments and feelings, only to bomb again, spectacularly. Now that will be fucking hilarious. In 2010, BrokeNCYDE released their second full-length release, Will Never Die, with the BreakSilence label, In 2011 they released a third full-length release, Guilty Pleasure, under Suburban Noize label. Every album of theirs to this date has a "Explicit Content" warning on the cover due to suggestive lyrics and swearing. The band was formed in 2006 by members Se7en and Mikl. They apparently named the band "Brokencyde" after coming up with an idea that the band's music was "fundamentally broken inside". They were later joined by members Phat-J and Antz. In 2008, they released their BC13 EP, and in 2009 they released their debut album, I'm Not a Fan...But the Kids Like It!, which was universally panned by critics (as well as the band's Hatedom, which is often said to be larger than their actual fandom). Artifact Title: The band's name, which means "broken inside", is a remnant from their more pensive beginnings. Distaff Counterpart: To crunkcore Girl Group Millionaires. They're actually friends with each other and have toured together on several occasions as well. Early-Installment Weirdness: Their first release, The Broken, sounds like a different band entirely. The music is softer, there's a lot more rapping, and the lyrics are more downbeat and personal than the hedonistic songs that the band are now known for. Emo Teen: Earlier days anyway. But for the most part, they lean towards the "Scene" fashion, still keeping the "emo swoop" bangs, piercings and tattoos, while wearing bright and fashionable kinds of clothes. Fight Fur Your Right to Party: The band's sort-of mascot Bree-Bree, who appears in the videos as someone in a pig fursuit. There was also a bear in the "Teach Me How to Scream" video. Girl on Girl Is Hot: "Freaxxx" opens with the band looking at two women making out and having sex in the club. Despite this, a line later in the song claims that they "don't waste time with lesbians". Indecisive Parody: They have claimed to be a parody in the past but now insist that they're totally serious about what they do. Add to the self awareness they have about their divisiveness and things just get even more confusing. Lampshade Hanging: The name of their first album (well, the first one that counts) is I'm Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It! And then there's "Guilty Pleasure"... Xtreme Kool Letterz: The band's name is "broken inside" but spelled oddly. One of their most popular songs is called "FreaXx". 0aad45d008
