This section describes an early build of Angry Birds Breakfast 3 from 2013, which predates both of the CD-ROM releases. It uses the name "Angry Birds Nestle" on the webpage and has some differences from the final game such as different themes and birds not flying in an arc.

My children love Angry birds. They knew Angry Birds, even before we had any smart phones. One morning I prepared them Angry Birds themed breakfast, just for the fun of it. I used a leftover pancake from the day before and half a pita bread. Egg whites (from hard cooked egg) and cherry jam pieces for the eyes. Homemade plum marmalade for the face and peanut butter for the beak.


Setting USE_DEBUG_SPRITE to true in LevelEngineBox2D makes the game render collision boxes overtop launched birds, materials and pigs. It's wise scale the game to match the collision box offsets instead of using it in full screen as they become inaccurate.


Angry Birds: Breakfast 2 is a new edition of the Angry Birds series. This time the evil pigs are trying to disrupt the breakfast. The struggle is all about food products and the final capture - breakfast cereals. The second part adds white bird - bombing the enemy with explosive eggs.






The game mechanics are similar to the other Angry Birds games. The goal in each of the seven levels is to take out all of the green pigs. The player begins each level with the allocated amount and types of Angry Birds. Most of the Angry Birds have a special ability skills, for example blue birds may divide into three birds, yellow birds may use an additional acceleration, black birds is a flying explosive bomb. The player gets the points for demolishing objects, defeated pigs and remaining birds. In the final duel for the box of cereal the pigs army is leaded by the king himself.


The birds come to eat their (comically large) bowl of cereal together, but then they see it's gone, with puddles of milk left behind. A further peek reveals that Handy Man is the culprit. The birds chase him down. Halfway through, they also encounter and defeat Prince Porky.


The structure is placed on a slope with some flat ground. One section is entirely glass, which The Blues can easily take out. The upper part of the structure is made with some harder materials, this is where the prince hides. As usual, defeat him and the other pigs with the given birds.


After spending the last 3 levels climbing a mountain, the cereal stealer awaits you at the top. The level is divided into an upper and lower area. The bottom area can be easily destroyed by Red. The remaining 3 birds (Chuck, Blues and Matila) should take out the upper structure where Handy Man and the cereal bowl he stole are.

Starting with Poached Eggs, Red will be able to cause great damage to the weaker structures, but as the player advances through the levels and episodes, they soon discover that Red doesn't have much strength compared to the other birds, and can usually only shatter about one long wood or glass block per turn.


At an indeterminate time later, the Flock was captured as rare birds and taken to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where they fought with Blu, Jewel and their friends against Nigel the cockatoo and Mauro and his marmosets.
