When I try from multiple apps such as Google, Samsung and other 3rd party apps to set a live wallpaper. I press set to lock and home screen but the wallpaper is still the same. I've tried just setting to the lock screen but still doesn't work. I don't know how to fix it, someone please help

I have an Iphone 11 Pro running the latest iOS 15.4. Live wallpapers do not work in the lock screen. Haptic touch is active, low battery mode is off, reduced motion is off. I tried everything. I tried Apple's stock live wallpapers, i've tried my own, nothing worked. In the live wallpaper review it works fine, but when i lock my screen and try it, it didn't move when i touch. However where it does work is on the screen when you swipe down from the top (not the control center), where you can see notifications, but that's after unlocking the screen. How do i get around this? I want to be able to have it move when the screen is locked which im sure is what it's supposed to be able to do.


I recently noticed that my live wallpaper apps are crashing when users try to set the newly introduced "Theming Icons" functionality on Android 12. This new functionality calculates a palette of colors from the user's current static wallpaper and uses this palette to color some of the other apps icons (a feature of the new "Material You" design). But for some reason when it operates on a live wallpaper it crashes the app with the following log:


For a while I was looking for a similar problem in reviews of popular live wallpapers. I found similar reviews only for one application. I updated my phone today. All my live wallpapers stopped working as expected. Then I installed "Earth & Moon" and this app works fine. It means that we are doing something wrong or, on the contrary, we are not doing something :) In the near future I will begin to investigate this problem.


I just updated my phone last night (s22 ultra) and my live wallpaper is gone and the set up button in the settings is gone too. Really loved that option ?. Had direct connection with tiktok and you could set the videos directly from tiktok. I really want it back

I woke up this morning to see my wallpaper and lockscreen were a picture of weird shapes with numbers in them. I saw I needed a phone update so I did that and changed photo back to what I had but it then changed to another random pic half hour later.


Hi  Mrinternational, do you have 'Wallpaper services' enabled on your phone? You can check this by heading to Settings > Wallpaper and style > Browse my wallpapers > Wallpaper services > Set this to 'None' to disable it.
