All Fixed!
Following code suggested by a colleague works well.
.
Dim WordObj As Object
   Set WordObj = CreateObject("Word.Application")
   WordObj.Documents.Open App.Path + "\docs\" + Filename
   WordObj.Printout Background:=False
   WordObj.Quit
   Set WordObj = Nothing
