Agree. I saw the screenshot widget as an option (under Interactivity -> Share) with the "Interactive Legend" app available from the "Instant Apps" catalog, and in blog posts here and here. It seemed like it would be better than just Ctrl+PrtSc because the user could control the area to be captured without going thru a photo editing app on their computer/device. But since it seems like the "Instant Apps" have very limited widget options, we have been using the WebAppBuilder, and I didn't see a screenshot widget there. ESRI suggested I try the Print widget (thanks to Ruchir, case #02994608), which is available in WebAppBuilder.

If Optimization is being used, this is expected behaviour. With Optimization, when someone shares the desktop (or has their camera on) that section of the screen is processed on your endpoint and then gets overlaid on top of your session by the Workspace app. Consequently, when you take a screenshot within the session, it isn't able to see that part of the screen since it isn't really there - just being overlaid.
When running through cypress run or inContinuous Integration, Cypressautomatically takes a screenshot when a test fails. You can optionally turn thisoff by setting screenshotOnRunFailure to false within yourscreenshotOnRunFailure orCypress.Screenshot.defaults().
Alternatively, to see screenshots in your Continuous Integration UI, most CIproviders document a way to export the screenshots as artifacts and to make themavailable. Please see their appropriate documentation.
Taking a screenshot is an asynchronous action that takes around 100ms tocomplete. By the time the screenshot is taken, it is possible something in yourapplication may have changed. It is important to realize that the screenshotmay not reflect what your application looked like 100% when the command wasissued.
For example - say a command we wrote timed out:cy.get('#element'). This causes your test to fail.Cypress then automatically takes a screenshot when the test fails, but it ispossible something in your application changed within this 100ms timeframe.Hypothetically, your app could render the element you were originally expectingto be present. When this happens, the screenshot may provide confusing results. It is unlikely, but theoretically possible.
Another potential problem to be aware of is that our own Command Log is usingReact under the hood and only rendering asynchronously during an animationframe. It is possible you will see screenshots taken before our Command Log isdone rendering. This means you may not see the error displayed in thescreenshot. But this is also why we allow taking a video - to show you thecomplete failure.
We make our best effort to synchronize taking a screenshot with our renderer, but the current state of your application under test could have changed in themeantime and not be an accurate representation of what you want to capture.
When passing fullPage to the capture option, Cypress scrolls the applicationunder test from top to bottom, takes screenshots at each point and stitches themtogether. Due to this, elements that are position: fixed or position: stickywill appear multiple times in the final screenshot. To prevent this, in mostcases you can programmatically change the element to be position: absolutebefore the screenshot and change it back afterwards like shown below:
I filled out all the required information, but all of my items are stuck in the "Missing Metadata" state, so I don't appear to be able to test them yet. The only thing I haven't filled entered is a screenshot and review description (why those would be needed for testing since they are review related, I'll never know).
it shows my new screenshot but not showing on my admin panel, why does the admin panel detects the screenshot with www and if I look on my hosting file manager my theme has the new screenshot. I've tried to delete and reinstall wordpress from scratch including the theme but still doing the same thing. any thoughts?
Typically, when framing a view in Enscape I have the window maximised to my 1920x1080 screen to get as close to the aspect ratio of the desired output... but when exporting a screenshot to file - by default to 4K - the shot is reframed to accommodate the aspect ratio difference of 4096x2160 AND the window-viewer border.
I wouldn't need to see the different ratio regios, because most the client need one only. What do you think about to see a frame of the set output resolution ratio? That's what I missed very often is, never I know, what will be shown at the final image or animation output. So, a small flag option for the output settings would help a lot. Attached a screenshot like it works at the Rhino viewport.
The very single feature I miss there is being able to take a screenshot of only a part of the screen. It is apparently available with gnome-screenshot as from this post: What screenshot tools are available?
You may well find that using the command mate-screenshot -a in the keyboard shortcut does not work, in which case you need to modify the command to call bash and set DISPLAY... First check the variable in a terminal:
Hi,
I found no possibility to create a high quality path tracing screenshot. After a while the rendering in the viewport looks pretty good. But when I create a screenshot with the screenshot tool the image is very noisy. Is there a way to set a value for the seconds which will be used when creating a screenshot with path tracing?
Select (Capture Gallery) from the content area.
Press the OPTIONS button to sort saved screenshots by name or date, and delete screenshots. You can also copy saved screenshots to a USB storage device.
I have already used Cmd+Shift+5 to access the screenshots interface, and selected Show Mouse Pointer from the Options menu. That works! But none of the following capture methods can see/record the label:
String that represents the platform to which the screenshot applies. This should be used when a screenshot is only applicable to a specific device or distribution platform. User agents should not show screenshots that contain a platform value that differs from the current platform (for example, Google Play should not show screenshots whose platform is "ios").

About Tech echoes the belief that screenshots can be incredibly helpful when you need to demonstrate something that would be difficult to explain in words alone. A picture is worth a thousand words, after all!
Using screenshots or recordings to demonstrate a process is incredibly efficient. If you get the same question a lot or are the go-to for a specific function, you can send the same screenshot multiple times instead of repeating it yourself.
The problem is I have an old mac book pro 2010, and the full map never fit in my screen for a screenshot. When I try this way, and I print it, the result isn't quite good. I need to see a lot of details.
The Snip & Sketch tool is easier to access, share and annotate screenshots than the old Snipping Tool. It can now capture a screenshot of a window on your desktop, a surprising omission when the app was first introduced that kept us on Team Snipping Tool until recently.
The easiest way to call up Snip & Sketch is with the keyboard shortcut Windows key + Shift + S. You can also find the Snip & Sketch tool listed in the alphabetical list of apps accessed from the Start button as well as in the notification panel where it's listed as Screen snip. Or you can just search for it if you don't commit the keyboard shortcut to memory. (If you're a frequent screenshot taker, we recommend pinning the app to the taskbar.)
Either the keyboard shortcut or the notification button will dim your screen and open a tiny menu at the top of your screen that lets you choose which type of screenshot you want to take: rectangular, freeform, window or full-screen. Once you take your screenshot, it will be saved to your clipboard and show up momentarily as a notification in the lower-right corner of your screen. Click the notification to open the screenshot in the Snip & Sketch app to annotate, save or share it. (If you miss the notification, open the notification panel and you'll see it sitting there.)
If you open Snip & Sketch from the Start menu or by searching for it, it will open the Snip & Sketch window instead of the small panel at the top of the screen. From here, you need to click the New button in the upper left to initiate a screen capture and open the small panel. It's an extra step to proceed this way, but it also lets you delay a screenshot. Click the down-arrow button next to the New button to delay a snip for 3 or 10 seconds.
To capture your entire screen, tap the Print Screen (sometimes labeled PrtScn) key. Your screenshot won't be saved as a file, but it will be copied to the clipboard. You'll need to open an image editing tool (such as Microsoft Paint), paste the screenshot into the editor and save the file from there.
To capture your entire screen and automatically save the screenshot, tap the Windows key + Print Screen key. Your screen will briefly go dim to indicate you've just taken a screenshot, and the screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.
To take a quick screenshot of the active window, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + PrtScn. This will snap your currently active window and copy the screenshot to the clipboard. You'll need to open the shot in an image editor to save it.
If your computer doesn't have the PrtScn key, no worries, Microsoft has another keyboard shortcut for you. You can press Fn + Windows logo key + Space Bar to take a screenshot. It will then be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.
