Change the offset of the ylabel.
See "help set xlabel" (or check that chapter in gnuplot.pdf) for the
syntax.

That error message is completely unspecific, it is just the return
code for "serious error, abort" gnuplot gives to the shell. There
most likely is another message by gnuplot before, which specifically
tells you where and what is wrong in your script.

Btw. if this is still about AMBER/CPPTRAJ, you should probably
update it and/or contact the authors so they fix it. The gnuplot
scripts they output are obviously buggy, as could be seen from your
last message here. Could be you are using a newer gnuplot version
that is more sensitive to certain syntax errors etc.
