I use the bib file bsbibannote.bst a lot, to produce a listing of BibTeX files. It works with either natbib.sty or apalike.sty (I use natbib). The listing ends up sorted according to the first author names, sort of; in any case there is sorting. It was written by one Bernd Schandl. Now I want the items in the bibtex file to be listed as they are, unsorted. I don't find a file unsrt.sty in CTAN, and I am not sure in any case, whether bsbibannote could use it, even if it existed. My question: can I modify bsbibannote such that it does not sort the items? If yes, how? What is special about bsbibannote is that it recognises the field "annote", which comes out in the listing in the form "... ANNOTATION: bla bla...". One way to do what I want would be to use an existing unsorting bst and add this feature. How does one do that? -- Dieter Britz (dieterhansbritz<at>gmail.com)
