Is there a specific reason why "set key tmargin" is ignored with
splots?

set view map
set key tmargin
splot x

Yet, the key is still in the default position (upper right corner).

"set key (b|l|r)margin" work as expected.


Even weirder: "set key center" positions the key at the bottom of the
plot.
