| Subject | psql.exe after new installation |
| From | jim.brown@branr.com |
I've installed postgresql 11 from postgresql-11.4-2-windows-x64.exe from https://www.enterprisedb.com/thank-you-downloading-postgresql?anid=1256714. Worked great. If I open psql, it prompts with: "Password for user jimbr:" jimbr is my windows account name so this is not unreasonable. However, no matter what I supply as password, the window just closes. I tried postgres, the master password I set up during installation, my windows logon password and empty. The window just closes. Any ideas? Jim
