   ----------------------
2. Intel DPC++ Book Offer
   ----------------------

   Hello Unigroupers,

   Unigroup has a free book offer from our friends at Intel!

   At Unigroup's recent Intel Roadmap meetings, we covered
   Intel's free DPC++ / Data Parallel C++ Toolkit offering.
   There is a book available on this subject...

   The PDF of the book is directly downloadable for free,
   see the URL below.

   Intel has an offer for "key customers", which evidently
   includes Unigroup :-), where a free hardcopy copy of
   the DPC++ book could be sent to you directly from Intel
   upon your request.

   If you would like to participate in this offer to get a
   hardcopy book mailed to you, you will need to provide your
   shipping information via the Unigroup Offer web form:

     http://www.unigroup.org/unigroup-offer.html

   Note: All fields are required except for the optional
   Address2. This information is expected to be used for
   shipping the books to you. The form is set up for
   USA-only. The form collects the information that Intel
   has requested from us.

   ** Note: Any information you provide on the OFFER form will
   be sent to Intel, and then likely from Intel to Intel's
   3rd-party distribution partner.

   ** Note: Normally Unigroup does not disclose such member
   information, but this time given the physical shipping of
   books, your information needs to be disclosed if you request
   a hardcopy book. The PDF book download does not require any
   disclosures, just visit the URL and download a copy.

   About this offer, Intel has said: "This data will be kept
   private and not used for solicite. It is first come first
   serve. FYI, we have limited stock of the DPC++ book
   available for distribution to key customers. The books are
   kept in storage at a third-party (not Intel) warehouse and
   we prefer to ship books directly to the recipients as we're
   not allowed to have face to face meetings to hand them off.
   If anyone would like one sent to a customer have them
   contact me and I can have my team coordinate delivery."

   ** Intel has stated this is 1st come 1st serve, so there
   are no guarantees that you will receive a book. But if you
   are interested, do send in your request via the Unigroup
   Offer form ASAP, since we want to get the Unigroup requests
   into Intel ASAP.

   ....

   Title of the Book:
     "Mastering DPC++ for Programming of Heterogeneous Systems
      using C++ and SYCL"

   Available for free online:
     https://www.apress.com/gp/book/9781484255735

   Amazon listing for the book:
     https://www.amazon.com/Data-Parallel-Mastering-Programming-Heterogeneous-ebook/dp/B08MKYHJ6R/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=mastering+data+parallel+c%2B%2B&qid=1615229759&sr=8-1

   .....

   Our thanks go to Intel for this free book offer for Unigroup!
