Not sure that would the problem is. You should be able to connect to
SQL 2008 and SQL 2005 from Denali SSMS. However, you will not be able
to connect to SQL 2000, as Microsoft has a two-versions-back policy.

I have no idea. Try to connect to them and see what happens. :-)
