Yes, CTP 1.
Now, you have.
I looked for it in the Start Menu. That is where it always had
been. All that was there after installing Denali was the Denali SSMS.
I could still connect to SSE 2008, but it was through Denali's SSMS.

But as I noted in text you snipped, SP 3 *also* threw a
compatibility error. I am concerned that I might not have a proper
SSE 2008 installation. Do I? I do so like to avoid error messages in
software installations.
Is there a 64-bit SSE 2008 that will install on Windows 7 without
throwing a compatibility error?
