A well established and profitable company in the Cleveland area is
searching for an SQL Developer. This is a six month plus contract.
This is a March start for the right person.

The rate Is about $50 hr W2, no expenses are offered, so local or
regional candidates are preferred but all will be considered.  Working
conditions are said to be excellent
and the contract starts in March.

Title:			SQL Developer

Reports To:		Data Architect Team Lead




As a SQL Developer, your essential job functions will include the
following:
•	Design, develop, test and maintain DML processes.
•	Design, support, and extend OLTP data architectures.
•	Develop quality written technical design specifications and
documentation.
•	Construct efficient and robust ETL processes.
•	Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the DBMS using profiling,
performance analysis and tuning, and debugging techniques and tools.
•	Assist in the evaluation of third-party tools and applications.
•	Track project development and support time using existing processes.
•	Build, change, and maintain databases in multiple environments.
•	Construct efficient and robust ETL processes.
•	Gather requirements, design, develop, and document solutions.
•	Maintain up-to-date documentation of newly developed systems and
operations.
•	Monitor system services ensuring consistent service reliability and
timely problem resolution.
•	Interface with key customers from all functional areas, both
internal and external.
•	Responsible for ongoing support of the DBMS.

•	Timely and successful delivery of DBMS tasks and projects.
•	Meet/exceed customer service commitments.
•	Effective training and support of business community where required.
•	Effective coordination of projects and tasks across the Information
Technology organization.

Other Duties as Assigned.

Position Requirements
•	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
•	5+ years of design, development, and documentation experience
required
•	3+ years experience developing for SQL Server 2005 or 2008 required
•	3+ years in design and development of data warehouse applications,
data warehouse reporting,  and ETL tools required
•	Strong communication skills
•	Ability to work well  in a fast-paced environment

Physical Job Requirements
