Does any RDP client support them? When I connect to Win7 with RDP,
ti runs in reduced functionality mode, even with the highest
resolution/highest bandwidth settings. I assume this might be
different if I were connecting from a Win7 machine -- that is, to
get the Aero UI, you'd have to be running a version of Windows that
is also running Aero, because that's the only way the GDI-to-GDI
commands can be sent directly. 

I don't know how the Mac RDP clients work at all, since there is no
possibility whatsoever of any direct GDI-to-GDI commands. But I
assume the client is smarter than VNC (which just sends bitmaps).
