The calculation does work with result Number as well - but the index
won't!

Go to your calc field and look at its index (cmd-i) - it won't show the
first letters, but number values only. Those could be 1 for letter T
(since this is "True") and zero for F (false), or depending on your
language setup Y/N for yes and no (or J/N for ja/nein in German).

Change the calculation's  result type from text to number and it will be
broken.
