Even the easterly wind rains that fed the entire Midlands area failed and rivers dried up. The Macquarie River being one such notable river - it just disappeared. I did work in National Climate Centre for a while. I heard about it on the news at the time. I make no claim as to the bom fudging figures, but some organisations claim otherwise. There is an article in the Oz that maybe Pretzel can read for us. Oh and not change the content hahaha.
