#62344 — Ebay Searches Gone Astray

It often seems that the most insightful search results on Ebay
are found by searching for things that they don't have.

I thought I'd see if Transparent OLED display modules had made
it to the shelves of the cheap Chinese electronic components
sellers. Far from it, by the looks of things.

However as their search engine desperately scrambled to find
something to part me from my money, I did find out that
you can now buy balloons (or "super transparent corrugated
wave balls") with built-in LEDs:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/162721544507/

And, on a more worrying note, at least eight people, presumably
in Australia, have bought Saddam Hussain iPhone covers:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142509015913/

Our country was at war with him not that long ago, now people
here are putting his face on the back of their mobile phones.

Did you get some of Tony Abbott when he was kicked out of the
top job, or is it just the dictatorial sorts who qualify for
this treatment?

Nope.

As a joke, stupid. Even if he was their hero, nothing to worry about now.

I have the brightest yellow cover I can find,
to make my phone stand out like dogs balls
and look great with a space grey iphone.

Can be a problem when using it in the car tho, even
the stupidest cop should notice what it is and it’s a
$700 or so fine and the loss of 3 points too.

That was a joke, Joyce. Don’t laugh, see if I care.

Seems cases are not politically correct
Rod would argue a ISIS flag one is OK also

We are advised to NOT judge ALL Moslems by the actions of a few lunatics,
but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Funny how that works.
