I find it fine for my mobile service and some of my
mates have it instead of any other broadband service. 

Not clear how well it goes in the evening 
with everyone streaming netflix over it tho.

that's not an issue because it's fixed to only a certain number of premises

Optus fixed wireless up and running, and running very well. :) $60 a month,unlimited.I'm on the bottom tier of 12 mb, however all good no peaks or troughs. Suit's my usage perfectly.

An update.

!2 down, a little slow, tho no drop outs. So upgraded to 25 down ($80pm) in jan. That included a faster modem, phone line,  and a fetch box... All good, Slows a bit at holiday time (tourist area.) but value for money, for mine!!.
