felix <felix@real_felix.invalid> wrote > there's no phone number on their page anywhere, Yeah, they are a bit weird phone # wise. Basically they use a special number on the mobile service, obviously free. And quite a bit of the time, even when you call that, they tell you that they are too busy to take your call, but that they are happy to chat on their web site or using their app and they do respond to emails. Now that they have added power and gas to their mobile offerings, it remains to be seen if the phone # policy will change. > but if you google you find it: > https://www.comparetv.com.au/amaysim/amaysim-contact-phone-number/ But they will just get someone to all you back. > strange. don't they want to sell their phone plans? They are happy to sell them using their web site and you can get their sims in woolys, bigw etc for $2 and sign up when you activate that.

Just did with another amaysim sim with for my backup phone and for those devices that work by receiving texts, amaysim still is the best value for that sort of use although not as good as it used to be. Not as good as some others with their $10 unlimited plan either because they charge every 28 days now instead of by the calendar month. But has the advantage that you get 1GB of data with no contract, jeenee is cheaper because it charges by the month, not 28 days, but you have to have a 1 year contract to get 1GB of data, otherwise 500MB. 500MB is plenty for me so I moved to jeenee. 1 year contracts arent a great idea with Optus MVPs so aggressively competitive currently. Amaysim had a Groupon offer for 6 months unlimited with 1GB of data for just $24 in total, so $4 a month. Their other arm, vaya, had a 4 month offer with Groupon for just $10 total, so $2.50 a month. Still avail able.
