#61860 — returning Ebay item

FromMax <max@val.morgan>
Date2017-11-01 07:00 +1100
Subjectreturning Ebay item
Message-ID<otakpn$1t57$1@gioia.aioe.org>
I bought a $200 item off E-Bay from the US, which I decided I didn't
want anymore. The time has not arrived yet.

I offered to return the item unopened for a refund. The seller said
this would be fine.

When the item arrives, what would be the best way to return the item?
Would it be to not accept delivery of the time? That way it would be
returned in it's packaging and the seller would have not doubts about it
being unopened.

Time, I'm afraid, must be accepted. That the mistakes of the past must
continue with us away into the eternal future is the nature of the
world which does serve us for life as it does also for Ebay.

I hope that you may find the strength to look beyond this point in your
life, to see that while the past may wish to inflict upon you a final
cost equating to that of return postage, it is the future to which our
world will always face.

Why is that, of which you are so afraid?

Time brings with it pain as it does also pleasure. That proportion
which prevails may be known only by those remnants of the past
so often invisible to the eyes of man.

Maybe. Perhaps you might consider stopping what you are doing - apart
from being messy, you will go blind.

Well there's something to be afraid of at least.

Are you implying that there are no deeply-committed wankers in
