I bet Links, Links2, and my personal favourite, Dillo are are faster
again. However that page is just about Javascript, which they don't
have in the first place. I only use Firefox for sites that don't
work at all with Dillo.

That page also seems to show (in a bit that does work with Dillo)
that Firefox had a strong lead over Chrome back in 2016, so it
might have a bias towards Firefox.

Ah it's the weekend, what the hell. Let's see what that page says
when I load it in Firefox 2 on this Pentium 1...

Ha! I got 0.13! Not to mention four error messages. :)

That was Firefox V. 2 running under Linux on a Pentium 1 from
1996 (my Usenet (etc.) PC), just to see what that site would
make of it. I haven't tried FF Quantum, probably won't bother
until it gets a full release. I'll try it on different
hardware of course.

Try visually, its certainly faster

They never do. Waterfox seems to go and down in he test results, not sure
why.
