Quite an improvement IMO. Enough proof for me is using ANZ online
banking, which has always been painfuly slow. Much quicker using
Quantum.

Never seen that with IE11 or Chrome. I don't use firefox much at all.

I probably won't be using it every day until the next ESR release,
but I might give it a look when the full Firefox 57 release comes
out.

Stupid name though, quantum computer technology isn't best suited
to things like web browsing anyway. Even if it were available.

Is there still an option burried away to have a proper drop-down
menu bar at the top of the window in this new "Photon" interface?
I'll be extremely grumpy if they've taken that away properly now.

I tested it much better and faster then chrome. I also tested it against
waterfox and opera, with mixed results as what is quicker.

Overall Firefox Quantum looks very good.

WIN10 64 bit 8 gig ram
When FireFox got buggy dumped it and went with Opera which seem good
enough to me

You may want to revisit this decision, as firefox has a lot more addons
than Opera and Firefox Quantum uses less memory.

At the moment I am sticking with waterfox but when Firefox Quantum is out
of beta, I am going to test it again.

Yeah, me too, but weatherzone still fucks
it up eventually if you leave it running.

I tried on a 32 bit machine Quantum, it is mych faster but many of my
favourite addons no longer work. I pulled it off.
