You don't even know/remember *what* you post, so who's the fuckwit? <Roddles> The life of any rechargeable battery is determined by how often its recharged. You'll have to charge it more if you stupidly use electricity from the battery to boost the stored hot water when you run it out in the evening and need hot water first thing in the morning before the solar hot water system makes more. </Roddles> > Clearly the batterys have to be charged more when he is > actually stupid enough to have not sized the solar hot water > system properly so that it has to be boosted with electricity > stored in the fucking batterys for the overnight boosting. Duh! But *that* - "more", *not* "more often" -wasn't your (non-)argument, was it!? Your (non-)argument was "how often", i.e. *cycles*. QED. HTH. HAND. EOD. NK.

He is also not mentioning that his source of water is rain water -- Petzl Right now it's about the force of Sharia law verses our Australian constitution. It's not about our neighbors it's not about prayer, is not about freedom of religion, it's about Sharia law verses our constitution. We need to shift the narrative take the remote away and say we're not going to watch that channel anymore We're going to watch this channel, this is the Australian Constitution channel right there and stand on that. If we evaluate everything on that basis including upcoming elections ask yourself who is more likely to stand up for the values of our Australian Constitution. That's the basis you should use in evaluating not only unconstitutional political parties, but every other part of our society We need to have a secular revival and go back to the Australian constitution as in a matter of fact we need to have a spiritual revival to upgrade our only integrity

Rubbish, it depends on the battery chemistry, how far it is discharged before recharging, how well the charger is controlled etc. Most batteries can be recharged FAR more often if they are discharged less than 50% before being recharged in a well controlled manner, and FAR less if the are constantly discharged almost completely, or allowed to overheat when recharging. As always nothing is ever black and white. Trevor.

Your system sounds more high spec than 2 systems we were reading about in the current quarters edition. In just the past couple of days we were reading about 2 townie systems. Both had 7.6kW solar PV panels and were all electric including hot water and house heating. In 2016, one of these houses had paid a total of $560 for all electricity including the feed-in tarif payments for PV exports. About $420 was for daily service charges and net usuage cost was $160.
