Yes, you actually are that stupid. When you have no grid, it makes no
sense whatever to be boosting the hot water at night using electricity
very inefficiently obtained from the solar panels and very inefficiently
stored in the battery. The only thing that makes any sense at all is to
size the solar hot water system so it never needs boosting, fuckwit.

It would work much better if you had sized
the solar hot water system properly.

I didn’t have to spend tens of kilobucks on the system, fuckwit.

Yep.

Its fucking your batterys and you would get longer
on the battery in the worst solar conditions if you
had sized the solar hot water system properly.

You'd save more if you had sized the solar hot water system properly
because you wouldn’t have to replace the batterys sooner. That stupidly
will see you waste more on new batterys than you saved when you were
too stupid to buy the right size solar hot water system.

It isn't fucking the batteries and I hope the batteries give out before
the 10 year guarantee so I get some replacement ones. Whatever I've got
7 1/2 years of 'free' electricity

mate it is all free now. 10 year guarantee on the batteries. You are
just upset because you are still paying for power and got taken in by
pez's 3 grand gas generator lie

The life of any rechargeable battery is determined
by how often its recharged. You'll have to charge it
more if you stupidly use electricity from the battery to
boost the stored hot water when you run it out in the
evening and need hot water first thing in the morning
before the solar hot water system makes more.

> and I hope the batteries give out before the 10 year guarantee so I get
> some replacement ones.

You'll find they have worded that guarantee so that
only total failure is covered, not less time between when
its fully charged and when its not charged anymore.

> Whatever I've got 7 1/2 years of 'free' electricity

But will have to replace the batterys sooner at your
cost because you were too stupid to size the solar
hot water system properly so it never needed
boosting very inefficiently using the PV and batterys.

It wont be when the batterys need replacing at your cost.

> 10 year guarantee on the batteries.

That only covers total failure, nothing to charge.

It doesn’t cover less time between fully charged and flat.

> You are just upset because you are still paying for power

Nope, since I've got the grid available, there is no way
that a totally off grid system can ever pay for itself here.

> and got taken in by pez's 3 grand gas generator lie

Its completely irrelevant to me, I don’t even have gas
to the house and wont ever be getting it either. My
house its passive solar and I don’t heat it with anything
but free solar and only use a single electric throw in the
evening and that uses fuck all electricity.

Even if I do get a bigger diesel generator that will start
the evap cooler, I wont be buying one new and will be
getting it from a garage sale or the facebook buy sell swap
groups for peanuts, nothing even remotely like his $3K

Even that isnt likely. If we do see blackouts in the peak
of the day when cooler would be convenient, I'll likely
just start the cooler when the mains is still available
and switch it auto to the current generator which
will certainly run it fine once its been started.

IMO its not that likely that we will see blackouts
during the day in NSW anyway and even if we do
and it’s a stinking hot day when it happens, I can
just sit in the car with the aircon going and handle
it fine that way.

Nope, you'd be even further ahead if you had sized the
solar water heater correctly so it didn’t need boosting
because the batterys will last longer before they need
to be replaced and they are in fact the most expensive
part of the total system.

But what matters is how often that happens when
cant use a dirt cheap used petrol generator when you
actually need the electricity for something important.

So you wont be able to get the batterys replaced under
warranty and will still have to replace them sooner
because you were too stupid to have sized the solar
hot water system properly so it doesn’t need boosting.

Even a terminal fuckwit such as yourself should be able to
work out how to not sit in the dark cowering about boogy
men rampant, if someone was actually stupid enough to
lend you a seeing eye dog and a white cane.

For heaven sake if they fall below 60% before 10 years they get replaced
for no cost. What is your fixation with hotwater which is a
comparatively small user of electricity for me

It isnt free, you had to buy the hardware.

And the batterys lasting longer before need
to be very expensively replaced is even better.

Don’t need to spend anything even remotely like that to have light
when the mains is out.

Of course it isn't fucking the batteries. Poor Roddles claims that
your setup - with hot water boosting during the night - will have more
discharge/recharge cycles than without hot water boosting, but of course
it won't.

Thanks for that completely superfluous proof of what
a pig ignorant terminal fuckwit you have always been.

I never said anything about CYCLES, fuckwit.

Clearly the batterys have to be charged more when he is
actually stupid enough to have not sized the solar hot water
system properly so that it has to be boosted with electricity
stored in the fucking batterys for the overnight boosting.
