That was my last time I'll try to help him. I wasn't overly optimistic
that it would end well, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now
he's cross posting this thread to aus.cars to stir up trouble.

wrong again dickhead. I x-posted only one reply because it included an
exchange between Xeno and RS in aus.cars

it was plain enough and clear enough. it was a simple question. and
that's how threads start anyway. plenty of examples if you care to look.
someone may have been able to provide a simple answer. really, this is
just another excuse to criticise me, and as we know, for you, any excuse
will do

> And then you have the hide to boast that he didn't 'didn't sus the problem'.

there was considerable discussion. read the thread. there was no problem
until he started with the personal stuff. he boasts about what a
fantastic tech he is, rubbishing anyone who disagree with him, yet he
didn't sus out that it was just a setting.

Yet you said you had tried everything. A very quick Google shows that
password protected sharing has to be off for it to work. You hadn't
followed the instructions and failed google 101.

It was a very inaccurate description of the issue and an incomplete one.

You were doing fine right up to there Peter. You just went past the
line. You are a terminal fuckwit. I am a very good tech, but I don't
have the patience to deal with fuckwits like you who cry help me help
me, when if the read the fucking instructions they would be able to
figure it out themselves.

Oh look here's a microsoft forum and look at what the person had tried....

You would make a very good crash test dummy...

- I'm running 2 Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) desktop computers. No
laptop involved.
- Both computers can see each other over the local network.
- IPv6 is enabled on both.
-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledComponents
= 0
- Windows Firewall is enabled on both.
- AVG Free Anti-Virus on both (not AVG Internet Security/Firewall)
- Network type is set to 'Home' on both.
- Network discovery is ON on both computers.
- 128-bit encryption is ON on both computers.
- *Password protected sharing is OFF on both computers*.
- Windows is set to manage the homegroup.
- Workgroup is same on both computers
- HAVE run the Home Group troubleshooter on both computers. Once it
complained about the clocks not syncronized but they are set to exactly
the same time, (17 seconds difference between the 2 computers). No luck
there obviously.

See Password protected sharing is OFF on both computers.

I already asked you once where 'the instructions' were and you never
replied. but now you quote some forum post. that's supposed to be 'the
instructions' is it? oh sorry... 'the fucking instructions'

I have never claimed to be any sort of computer expert. but you seem to
think because you're a 'very good tech' (to put it politely) that gives
you some right to deride others less knowledgeable. as I said, I see you
as an arrogant twat, so don't expect any respect from me for your
behavior and attitude. and next time I ask a question here, don't bother
to reply if you simply want to throw mud.

Nope, just terminal fuckwits such as yourself.

maybe it's time to stop addressing the criticism and insults ppl want to
spew my way. it seems obvious no one has any regard for what I say in
response anyway, so maybe it's time to just tell ppl to go and fuck
themselves.

so I'll start with you... get fucked!

the desperately cowering gutless lying fuckwit who loves to dish it out
but can't take it, and then hides behind his stock phrase 'some gutless
fuckwit, etc..'.. is YOU!

so now that you've dragged me to your level, and I've played your stupid

I'm not mentally defective like you, and so have no need to perpetuate
such puerile nonsense, so fuck off now and have a shithouse day!

what have I ever done to you? seriously!

> to check the permissions on 2 August.

at 4:11 pm, and I replied "so what does that mean and how do I fix it?"
at 4:44 pm to which you never replied. so you're bullshitting as usual,
so you're who's full of shit not me! had you bothered to reply, the
problem would have most likely been discovered there and then.

you just hate me. that's obvious. why I don't know, but at this point I
just don't care. who do you think you are anyway, that I should give a
damn?!

Like hell it was.

Yes, but not at all clear what was working and what wasn’t
and what you had tried to see if that had fixed the problem.

As always with every question you have ever asked.

> and that's how threads start anyway.

Plenty have much more useful info about what works
and what doesn’t and what has been tried already.

Very unlikely given you didn’t say clearly what worked and what didn’t.

Even sillier than you usually manage.

Even sillier than you usually manage.

We can all see that that is another bare faced lie.

Because you never said what worked and what didn’t and
what you had tried that made no difference. As always.
