Ah right. I can't find any link to take me through, but searching the title
of one listing on Gumtree brings up an identical listing, but much more
complete.

Someone's been having fun with a web scraper.

Doesn’t mean it makes sense to do without if when it is available.

I know but times have moved on I suppose.

The main reason is RFS stuff even though I carry a pager. I was interested
that even pulling over to the side of the road and using your mobile is
technically illegal

Unless you use it without touching it, mine has an app called autoanswer
which answers automatically and forces handsfree, so if anyone rings I
just talk it even works from the bedroom if I am on the loo which I
discovered when I forgot to put is back to normal .
I do not initiate calls but with modern day technology it is now
possible to do that without touching.

funny thing happened to me once.. I was skyping (audio only) and the
other party had to visit the loo, so they turned the volume down on
their ipad in the (mistaken) belief that it muted the audio
transmission. but as they left it in close proximity to the loo, I was
treated to all the 'action'. :)

I can't imagine life without my (smart) mobile phone. it does
everything.. phone calls (of course), SMS/MMS (send text and photos),
free international voice/video calls, internet, social networking,
email, pay bills, purchases, weather, maps, etc., when traveling it will
announce where/when to turn, how long to destination, traffic
conditions, etc., and recently discovered I can feed a parking meter
with it from wherever I am, lol!

I do all that, and pay for almost everything with it, only exceptions
are the fresh fruit and veg place that will only take cash for <$10,
the farmers market, and the garage sales. It is possible to pay to any
mobile but paying for stuff is usually a pretty hectic business at the
garage sales so not worth the hassle of convincing the seller to
accept payment to their mobile when they haven't done it before.

I also find it very handy to have it tell me stuff like the time and
the outside temp etc by just telling it to do that with a voice
command, particularly when in bed, but also during the day.

I must get off my arse and get a lock for the house that works
with the phone and I'd love to have the car work that way too.

Yeah. My problem is that I don't have a conventional front door, I have
13 patio doors all keyed alike and that lock system doesn't work with
those. Not that rapped in $210*13 either even if it would work.

Wondering though if your phone is on, anyone touching deadlock would
make it open?

Not necessarily. More likely it uses NFC to the phone and that
is initiated by touching the lock and NFC has a quite limited
range so that say a visitor wouldn't be able to unlock the door
with your phone inside the house.
